Notice of Election of Officers (Directors)

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the Society, the Japan Institute of Building Information Science has established a 13-member Board of Directors, including one president, after approval at the General Membership Meeting.
We are pleased to announce that the two-year terms of the Board of Directors elected on November 30, 2020, will expire, and we will hold elections in accordance with the Constitution of the Institute of Building Information Engineers.

One of the 13 Directors to be elected this time will be Mr. Keisuke Toyoda, the Vice President at the time of voting, who will be elected in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Society. In this election, seven members will be elected from among the general membership by a vote of the general membership (regular members).

Thereafter, a new president will be selected by a mutual election of candidates for the board of directors, and the election of five additional board members will be carried out by the new president.
In addition, it is stipulated that "in principle, reappointment to the Board of Directors for a total of no more than three terms and for no more than 70 years of age" is not permitted.
