6. Other
The greatest feature of round table session planning is that members can freely propose discussion topics. We hope that members will actively discuss what kind of themes should be discussed as the Japan Association of Architectural Informatics. It is difficult to bring together people from different fields and organizations, internationally, and with particular interest and experience in a particular topic. Given that it is not easy to have such an opportunity, especially in the field of architectural informatics, which aims at a new fusion of architectural and information studies, we have prepared this meeting as a means of promoting academic progress by the Society. We hope that useful discussions will be held from different perspectives, including advanced researchers from overseas, pioneers who have paid attention to the subject from early on, and people with specific practical experience on various topics, not only research-oriented but also practical and educational ones. Any member can apply to be a session organizer, but we especially encourage those of you who are preparing doctoral dissertations or review papers for the ARIA to take advantage of this opportunity to directly exchange views with the highly specialized panelists.
