Request for cooperation in the CENSUS survey by the Japan Institute of Building Information and Technology (JIBIT)

The purpose of this survey is to clarify the current status of the spread of building informatics and to gain insight into the future development and deployment of building informatics, based on the daily practice and research activities of the members of the Association of Architectural Informatics (AIE) and others. We hope that the results will serve as a guideline for the future activities of all those involved in the field of building informatics.

Your responses to CENSUS 2022 will be a great asset to the future development of the Japan Institute of Building Information. We appreciate your cooperation in responding to the questionnaire.

 Simple tabulations, cross tabulations, text mining, and other exploratory statistical analyses
<Method of publication of results
 White paper of the Institute of Architectural Informatics, to be published as a dashboard on the website of the Institute in the future.
<Handling of this survey data
 All data obtained from the trend survey will be anonymized and encoded in a way that individuals can be identified, and after statistical analysis and tabulation processing, the results may be published on the website of the AIJ and in white papers of the AIJ in a form that does not identify any individual or organization. The results may also be published as research papers or reports as part of academic research activities by the members of the Japan Society of Building Information Engineers. In the future, we are considering providing the data as open data to the members of the society for academic research use.
