[1] Submission Eligibility

To be eligible for submission, the first author must be a member of the JBIJ from the time of submission to the time of publication after the results of the acceptance of the paper. In the case of co-authorship, there is no requirement that anyone other than the first author be a member.

[2] Submission Method

原稿は電子投稿とし、PDFファイルを投稿システムに提出する。投稿方法は、「Manuscript Preparation Instructions」および「投稿原稿作成要領（Short Communication）」で定める。

[3] Contents of manuscript

情報技術・理論と建築・都市の関係に関する知の共有と体系化に資するものとする。著者は、投稿時に、以下に示す論文のタイプ、カテゴリー、および査読結果の言語の希望（日本語か英語）を申告する。

[4] 論文のタイプとカテゴリー

投稿論文のタイプは日本語でいう原著論文、総説論文、短報 といった区別であり、それらを表1に示す。さらに、論文の性格（理論的か実践的かなど）を示す属性としてカテゴリーを設定している。それらを表2に示す。カテゴリーは主に査読の際の評価の方針を設定するために用いられる。

[5] 原稿の基本的要件

投稿原稿は、他の査読のある学術雑誌に未掲載かつ著作権の問題が無いもので、建築情報学の趣旨を十分理解した内容で学術上または応用上価値のあるものとする。抄録以外の言語は英語とするが、Short Communicationは日本語でもよい。原稿は、Research ArticleとReviewは本文で4,000～10,000ワードを、Short Communicationは本文で2,000~4,000ワード（日本語の場合は5,000~10,000文字）を目安とし、投稿原稿作成要領に従って記述されていなければならない。連続して数編応募する場合には、各編がそれぞれ完結したものとする。連続した数編を応募する場合には、先の編の採用通知後に続編を応募する。

[6] 著作権

Authors who wish to use figures, tables, photographs, etc. published in other journals or books are responsible for following the appropriate procedures and indicating in the text of the manuscript that the article is being cited or reprinted. The copyright of all papers published in this journal belongs to the Architectural Institute of Japan. The Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0 License) (The CC BY-SA license is a CC license that also permits secondary use for commercial purposes, with the main condition that the original author be credited and that any modifications be published under the same CC license as the original work).

[7] 投稿料及び掲載料

At this time, there is no submission fee. A publication fee of 30,000 yen per accepted manuscript will be charged.

[8] 審査

2名の査読者の査読書が返送された時点で 、論文の採否を論文編集小委員会が査読の判定基準に基づいて、「採用」、「条件付き採用」、「再査読」、「不採用」のいずれかを決定し、その結果について論文編集小委員会から投稿者にメールで通知をする。
査読の結果が「条件付き採用」もしくは「再査読」となった論文については、開示が著者に通知されてから1か月以内に修正稿が提出されない場合は著者がその原稿を取り下げたものとみなす。なお、修正稿は修正原稿と査読書に対する回答を一体化したPDFを論文編集小委員会の指示に従って提出する。
The Editorial Subcommittee will review the revised manuscript for "Conditionally Accepted" and may return the manuscript to the submitter if the response to the peer review letter is insufficient. The Editorial Subcommittee will notify the submitter of the returned manuscript by e-mail, and the submitter must submit a revised manuscript within two weeks of receiving notification of the returned manuscript.
「再査読」に対する修正稿の確認は1回目の査読を行った査読者が行う 。2名の査読者の査読書が公開された時点で、論文の採否を論文編集小委員会が査読の判定基準に基づいて、「採用」、「条件付き採用」、「不採用」のいずれかを判定し、その結果について論文編集小委員会から投稿者にメールで通知をする。
If you wish to resubmit a paper that has been "rejected" or withdrawn after peer review, you must indicate at the time of submission that it is a resubmission. Re-submission of a paper without making revisions based on the peer review is not acceptable.

[9] 校正

論文編集小委員会の審議を経て、訂正や取り下げを認めることがある。「論文集の訂正、取り下げに関する運用要領」による。

[10] 投稿期日

Submissions will be accepted at any time.
The submission deadline will be set as follows: after the submission deadline, the Editorial Subcommittee will appoint reviewers for papers submitted by the submission deadline.
Submission deadlines: January 10, April 10, July 10, and October 10.

[11] 二重投稿について

If a submitted manuscript is identical in content to a paper that has been submitted or is in the process of being submitted to a publication that involves the review of papers, it will be considered a double submission and will not be accepted. If the double submission is discovered at a later date, it will be withdrawn at the discretion of the Editorial Subcommittee. Submissions or presentations to journals other than peer-reviewed journals will be considered as progress reports of research and will not be considered as double submissions.
